Decline in exports of spices. Indian Spices Board estimates of the April-June exports of spices during the nearly 1,17,000 tonnes is nearly 26 per cent lower than a year ago. 36 per cent in the export of red pepper and cumin in the highest 46 per cent of the exports have declined. However, strong gains in exports of cardamom is received. Export of cardamom has increased 200 per cent. Exports as well as turmeric and black pepper is too much.
